Welcome to AlgoShot! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our platform, services, and products, including backtesting, paper trading, and portfolio tracking for both Options Trading and Equity Investing modes.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By signing up for an account or using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or the legal age in your jurisdiction.
  • You have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

2. Services Provided

AlgoShot provides tools and services for stock market backtesting and paper trading across two modes: Options Trading (Nifty/BankNifty strategies) and Equity Investing (result-based strategies, screeners, and paper orders). Our services are provided "as is" without any guarantees or warranties. While we strive to offer accurate simulations and tools, results from backtesting or paper trading do not guarantee similar outcomes in live markets.

3. Account Registration

To use our platform, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or breach of your account.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree:

  • To comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using AlgoShot.
  • Not to use the platform for any illegal or fraudulent activity.
  • Not to interfere with the proper working of the platform or disrupt its services.

5. Financial Risks

  • Backtesting and Paper Trading: The results from backtesting and paper trading are based on historical data and do not guarantee future performance. Market conditions can change, and real-world results may vary significantly.
  • Investment Decisions: AlgoShot is a tool for testing and simulation only. Any investment decisions you make based on insights from our platform are solely your responsibility. AlgoShot is not responsible for any financial loss incurred from trading decisions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AlgoShot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of capital, your data, or your access, arising from or related to your use of the platform.

7. Changes to Terms

AlgoShot reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
